Product Details

Proudly present to you the SU-1 Digital Interface - designed and developed by dedicated Singxer team. The SU-1 is a high-performance USB digital audio interface, using the latest XMOS family and Xilinx high-performance CPLD / FPGA chip (a mini computer tailor programmed for signal processing/re-shaping, interface control, etc.).

While the digital input using the USB 2.0, it features a lot of output varieties such as RCA, BNC (coaxial), AES/EBU(balanced), HDMI, IIS and BNC WCLK word clock output.

 

Why we are so proud of the SU-1:

SU-1 is the first equipment we developed with high C/P ratio, positioned to confront with the $1000 or above high-end interface on the shelf. The design take advantages of the following:

  1. Full isolation technology (ground isolation),
  2. Source synchronous shaping technology by CPLD - to eliminate jitter as much as possible;
  3. The utilization of the High-performance CRYSTEK CCHD-957 oscillator for the system clock is the result of pursuing the lowest phase noise and lowest jitter.

The XCORE-200 technology:

SU-1 is the first using the XMOS latest xCORE-200 series of high-end USB digital interface products. With many years of experience in the field of digital work, as well as getting full support from the XMOS FAE support team, the SU-1 conducted a number of technical improvements and optimization algorithms over the original XMOS firmware, differentiate us from the rest of the products using XMOS technology.

Each interface electrical standards:

1 , the USB input socket is a standard USB-B type female, the USB power supply range 4.5V-5.1V ;

2 , the RCA connector outputs standard S / PDIF signal level is 550mV ( access standard load ), the output impedance of 75 ohms;

3, the power input is 110/220V AC, internal use RS importing adapter for power.


System Compatibility:

1, Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8; 32/64 bit, you need to install special drivers

2, Native MacOS 10.6 and later, using the system comes with drivers

3, Native Linux with UAC2 compliant kernel, using the system comes with drivers

4, Android OS 4.2 and above, the need to support OTG function.

I2S interface with HDMI output socket:

1. The level of 3.3V for the LVDS differential signals;

2. The output signal is muted, DSD ON signal, 5V power supply (low current);

3. The output signal mute, DSD ON signal can be modified according to customer needs, internal CPLD can define different output pins; the two signals can be output to any socket PIN13,14,15,16 pins.

   SU-1數字界面是我們團隊開發的一款高性能USB數字音頻界面,采用了XMOS最新的xCORE-200系列芯片。SU-1是采用自主研發的超低抖動時鐘系統(CRYSTEK的CCHD-575系列,達到飛秒級別的超低抖動),擁有標准的USB2.0 輸入接口,豐富的輸出接口,包括XLR平衡輸出AES,同軸RCA和BNC,采用HDMI插座輸出的I2S接口,時鐘輸出WCLK。

      SU-1的研發時長將近一年時間,其中也經歷不少波折和變數。

      SU-1是我們開發的首款整機設備,其定位於中高端界面,主要是采用了以下三項主要技術:

      1,全隔離技術(地線隔離),采用150Mbps的全隔離芯片,可以徹底隔離來自PC機的干擾;

      2,源同步技術和CPLD整形技術,對隔離之後的I2S信號,進行重新整形;從而消除了隔離芯片帶來的加性抖動;

 

      3,自主開發的時鐘系統,采用CRYSTEK的高性能晶振,低相位噪聲,低的抖動。

各接口標准:

1,USB輸入插座為標准的USB-B型母座,USB供電範圍4.5V-5.1V;

2,RCA接口輸出標准的S/PDIF 信號,電平為550mV(接標准負載),輸出阻抗為75歐姆;

3,電源輸入為115V/ 230V交流,內部采用TALEMA進口變壓器進行供電。

設計細節:

1,貫徹電為聲之母的設計理念,重視電源電路的設計,采用高性能、低噪音和具有快速響應的LDO作為主電源。整板采用了多路的獨立LDO供電,其中時鐘部分甚至采用了ADI的超低噪聲LDO,為保證輸出極致的性能打下了堅實基礎。

2,PCB主板采用4層電路板設計,確保擁有完整的地平面和電源層,采用高速數字設計方法,確保整板的信號完整性和電源完整性。對時鐘信號進行特別處理,采用包地設計和精確的阻抗控制,從而保證了時鐘的信號質量和提高其抗干擾能力。輸入輸出信號均遵循標准設計,特別是USB高速信號采用了90歐姆差分阻抗控制。

系統兼容性:
 
1,Windows 7,Windows 8,Windows 10; 32/64 bit,需要安裝專用驅動
 
2,Native MacOS 10.6 and later,使用系統自帶驅動
 
3,Native Linux with UAC2 compliant kernel,使用系統自帶驅動,(在Ubuntu和Daphile系統上面測試過,基於INTEL X86平台)
 
4,Android OS 4.2及以上,需要設備支持OTG功能,一般來說,安卓5.0的系統是默認支持的,5.0以下的建議配合專門的播放器使用。
 

I2S接口采用HDMI插座輸出:

1.電平為3.3V 的LVDS差分信號;

2.DSD ON 信號,5V電源(小電流),MUTE信號內部CPLD已經處理了,將不需要輸出MUTE信號;

3.DSD ON 信號可以自行定義,DSD ON這個信號可以任意輸出到插座的PIN13,14,15,16引腳。

4.PIN1-3和PIN7-9的相位可調,用戶可以通過一個開關配置這兩對輸出的相位。

 靈活的HDMI-I2S輸出配置:
        SU-1可以通過拔碼開關來配置HDMI-I2S,開關1-4對應配置HDMI插座的PIN13-16腳。拔到ON的位置,就表示HDMI PIN有DSD_ON 的功能。
       開關5是配置時鐘輸出的模式,OFF的時候時鐘輸出MCLK,ON的時候時鐘輸出WCK。
       開關6就是配置HDMI PIN1-3和PIN7-9的相位,ON的時候是正相位,OFF就是反相。(注:ON的時候,可以和歌詩德的解碼器匹配;OFF的時候可以和PS AUDIO的匹配)。
       如果你的解碼器是歌詩德的,把開關3和開關6拔到ON的位置,其他OFF;如果你的解碼器是PS AUDIO的,就把開關1-4拔到OFF的位置,開關6也是OFF。
       開關7和開關8作為備用,目前沒有任何作用.

        出廠默認所有開關都是OFF。

SU-1可以通過SW開關配置,以適應不同的I2S標准。

但是據我們所知,全世界每個廠家的HDMI-I2S都是不同的,對於大多數廠家來說,HDMI-I2S是廠家是私有協議。

所以,很抱歉,SU-1不可能適應所有的HDMI-I2S機器,所以不接受因為I2S接口不兼容的退貨。

但是,目前我們可以給出下面幾個不同廠家的HDMI-I2S,在下面的這些廠家中,測試過一部分的DAC是沒有問題的。
